Michele grew up in upstate New York, blessed with a loving family. While in New York, she worked and attended night school at RIT as an accounting major. Her first big career move
was across state to join General Electric as a Financial Management Trainee. While there she met her husband, Mark, and started their life and family together. Michele’s second big career
move was to give it all up and raise their three wonderful children. The oldest now lives on the east coast as she starts her career. The second is a sophomore in college and the youngest is
a senior is high school.
Volunteer work has always been an important part of Michele’s adult life. She has helped many organizations fulfill their mission. Michele started volunteering with Kiwanis in her early career
years, then later moved on to school and sport organizations with her children. Many years after were spent volunteering at a day program center for disabled adults in an art program.
There, she helped individuals develop skills and create items for sale.
Their youngest child was adopted from Cambodia. Having traveled there, the country has always stayed in their hearts. They saw and experience the needs this organization supports
and she is excited to share in and be part of this much needed mission.
Michele currently resides in the Chicago area with her husband and youngest daughter.
